Universities That Have Announced Resumption Date

It is not a new news that The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its 8months old strike it embarked on since February 14, 2022.

Sequel to this suspension, The President of The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU), Emmanuel Osodeke has directed all members of ASUU to resume academic activities with effect from Friday October 14, 2022.

Following this directive, many Universities have released resumption memo to continue suspended academic activities.

In this article, we will be showing you the list of Universities that have announced Resumption Date.

Universities That Have Announced Resumption Date

1. Federal University Of Technology Owerri (FUTO)

Following the suspension of the industrial action by all university based staff unions, the management hereby directs resumption of academic activities in the Federal University Of Technology Owerri with effect from Monday October 17, 2022.

2. Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU)

Following the suspension of the strike by ASUU, Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture Umudike wishes to inform her academic staff and students to return for continuation of full academics from Monday 17th October, 2022.

3. Sule Lamido University

Following the suspension of strike by ASUU, The management of The Sule Lamido University directs all staff and students to resume academic activities on Monday October 31, 2022.

4. University Of Calabar (UNICAL)

The management of The University Of Calabar (UNICAL) has directs all staff and students to resume academic Activities on Monday October 17, 2022.

5. University Of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT)

The University management wishes to inform all students that normal academic activities has resumed following the suspension of industrial strike by university based unions. All students are to resume on Friday October 14, 2022.

6. Federal University Of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE)

This is to notify the university community that academic activities for the 2021/2022 session will commence on Monday October 17, 2022.

7. Olusegun Agagu University Of Science And Technology (OAUSTECH)

Following the suspension of strike by The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU), the vice chancellor on behalf of the senate Of OAUSTECH has directed that, continuation of lectures should commence on Monday October 17, 2022.

8. Tai Solarin University Of Education (TASUED)

Sequel to the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) decision to suspend its industrial strike action, This is to inform all students that the resumption that has been fixed for Friday October 14, 2022.

9. Federal University Of Lafia (FULAFIA)

Following the suspension of industrial strike by The Academic Staff Union Of Universities, the management of FULAFIA directs all students and staff to resume academic Activities on Monday October 17, 2022.

10. Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK)

This is to inform all staff and students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), that following the suspension of strike by The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU), all students are to resume academic Activities with effect from Monday October 17, 2022.
